CAP Conference - Paris 2026
Comparative Agenda Project Conference – Paris, June 17–19
We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Comparative Agenda Project (CAP) conference will be held in Paris, France, from June 17 to 19. This year’s edition is co-hosted by the Centre de données sociopolitiques and the Centre d’études européennes et de politique comparée at Sciences Po, and will take place on the university’s Saint Thomas campus in the heart of Paris.

The CAP conference brings together scholars from around the world to share research on policy agendas, issue prioritization, and comparative political dynamics. As in previous years, we expect new contributions on the role of (social) media, party competition or the role of punctuated equilibrium. We also expect to hear more about recent and new projects.
The 2026 program will feature, as usual, a maximum of three parallel panel sessions diverse range of panels, as well as several plenary sessions incluindg roundtables, and keynote lectures. In addition to the academic sessions, we will host a reception and organise a social programme for friday afternoon.
We look forward to welcoming you in Paris and to continuing the CAP tradition of rigorous scholarship and small-scale collegial exchange.
